Salud y Familia promotes international initiatives and COOPERATION NETWORKS to improve women's health and the well-being of the most vulnerable family members.
Barcelona is one of the cities in the Mediterranean area that has recently become a coordinating centre of initiatives and projects for the multi-cultural, political and economical diversity of the area.
The Mediterranean region is now experiencing a period of migration and needs to adapt quickly. That is why children in this area are not only vulnerable now but will also be vulnerable in the future. For this reason health and social care for children’s problems are an investment in human resources and tolerance.
These activities are aimed at creating a network of health and social institutions, experts and non-governmental organisations which are playing an active role in reproductive and infant-health development in this area.
