To do this, it has created a service that SELECTIVELY FINANCES THE LEGAL INTERRUPTION OF PREGNANCY, directed at women who belong to socioeconomic risk groups resident in Catalonia, independent of their race or civil status. Between 1991 and 2010 60.289 women attended. So far, 13.042 women have attended during 2009 - 2010. It therefore works closely with public Family Planning Centres, the Social Services network and primary health care centres in Catalonia.
